Teachers from different Latgalian schools came together once again — a small but strong network that has been growing for several years. Once upon a time Emotrain and LadyLeader brought us together, and since then we have felt how important it is to meet again and again — at least once a year — to share our stories, challenges, ideas and destinies as LadyLeaders.We talked about what is happening in our schools, cities and lives. Not everything is easy — many of us face worries about school closures, mergers and changes in education. But what unites us is the decision not to give up hope, to stay active and keep creating our own initiatives.
We also received a lot of inspiration from the amazing stories and masterclasses by @Safira L and @LapsasMuiža — reminding us how powerful courage, creativity and community can be.
And the best part?
We already have more crazy common plans for the future.
Because when LadyLeaders meet — ideas start moving. ✨
LadyLeader Stories is a KA2 Small-Scale Partnership project coordinated by Landsbyggdin lífi - Farsæld til framtíðar (Iceland) in a partnership with InterArt Foundation (Bulgaria) and Miromida (Latvia). The project aims to empower women in rural and disadvantaged areas by equipping them with leadership skills, storytelling techniques, and emotional intelligence tools to foster civic engagement, self-confidence, and active participation in their communities.
