We – young people from Kaunata (Viktorija, Matīss, Valērija, Ričards, Raitis, Artjoms and Aleksandrs) – believe that the Latgalian language and culture are a treasure that must be passed on 💛That’s why, together with the NGO “Miromida”, we have created the European Solidarity Corps project “Latgolas Lizeika”.
By going on expeditions and collecting stories, we are building a new platform – a website where young people can not only learn, but also get inspired by our shared roots.

"Latgolas Lizeika" is a European Solidarity Corps Project. Its main goal is to promote the preservation and popularization of the Latgalian language and culture among young people by using digital tools and an interactive learning platform. We aim to create an innovative and accessible way for young people to explore Latgalian culture, language, and traditions while simultaneously developing their digital and creative skills.
