Arturs: “The project allowed me to learn a lot about myself, about ways to work with young people, about how to get to know other cities, and, in particular, how to see my own city from a different perspective. I also managed to make new connections, which I hope will lead to fruitful collaborations.”

Anita: “The project was something new and unheard of for me - exactly the methods we learned! I will try them in my work with youth!”

Agnese: “For me, this was a very unusual project, due to the language and the context of us, the participants. And I think that's the essence of this project: we listened to and interacted with different people, places, and instruments, which gave us a very valuable experience that we would hardly have been able to gain anywhere else.”

Valentina: “The project was rich in diverse information about the possibilities of creating engaging walks. And it's great that the focus was on young people. Over the five days of the project, we were able to think more deeply about them and talk with them at length. I hope the result will be a product that will be relevant to them.

Valentins: “Sometimes you just want to disconnect from the ordinary and figure out what you need from life. That's what the "home sweet city" project became: through various master classes, conversations, and excursions, it was possible to simply recharge and start seeing ordinary things with a new perspective.”

Sweet City is a KA2 Small-Scale Partnership project coordinated by Multi Nutikas (Estonia) in a partnership with Miromida (Latvia). The project aims to strengthen the emotional connection of young people in the border cities of Estonia and Latvia – Narva and Daugavpils - with their hometowns and to foster their proactivity through creative exploration of the urban environment, self-presentation in public spaces, intercultural dialogue, and engagement in community life. At the same time, it expands the toolkit of youth workers by offering innovative methodologies and practical solutions to support youth initiatives, develop digital competences, and promote intercultural understanding.
