Latvian team back from Youth on The Move, Poland

October 28, 2026 at 12:19 pm, No comments
Miromida' s young team - the biggest group ever (19 young people!) of a great mix from several Latgale schools - is back from Poland. For most of the people it was the first project in their life. And definitely not the last one.

From October 17 to October 24, 2026, the Erasmus+ youth exchange project “Youth on the move” took place in Krasnobród, Poland.
During the project 41 participants from Latvia and Poland took part in inspiring activities in two main areas:
-Sports and healthy lifestyles: practical workshops and exciting outdoor activities, visited the local school and led sports activities,
-Intercultural learning: discussions on stereotypes, inclusion, and building international friendships.
The project was hosted and organized by Stowarzyszenie Multiperspektywy.

Here are the main take-aways:

-meeting people from another country
-getting to know Polish culture
-making new frends
-hike and climbing the mountains
-working together in a team
-having lots of fun together
-gaining new skills to use in everyday life
-creating unforgettable memories

Are You ready to fail? Are You ready to learn? Are You ready for Madeira in the very beginning of 2027?If You are a young person from Latvia (aged 19-23), apply for this Youth exchange "The Courage to Fail": https://forms.gle/XvYLErptx7f9y3iR9The Courage to Fail project aims to explore and reflect oncrucial themes, including the fear of failure, mental resilience, social media pressure, and perceiving setbacks as a catalyst for growth. The project provides participants with a safe and supportive space to face their personal fears, share their experiences, thoughts, and ideas, and engage in meaningful discussions through a practical learning cycle: TRY - FAIL - REFLECT - ADAPT - TRY AGAIN.More info: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZkG8jn2xRwQeMmUZG7zFddaIC9h8uakE/view?usp=drive_link 1-4.jpeg
