Kristina Castronovo represented Miromida and joined the SALTO Inclusion & Diversity Forum as a trainer of the Latvian National Agency, together with around 170 participants from all over the world.
The Forum was a great space to look at inclusion from many different angles – noticing practical lifehacks for organising more inclusive events, exchanging experiences and joining valuable discussions about the future of inclusion in the next Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes.
And, of course, inclusion was not only something to talk about – we experienced it! Trying inclusive Paralympic sports, discovering Finnish culture, laughing a lot and learning from each other made these days especially memorable.
We also had the chance to share some things we are particularly proud of. Kristina facilitated a workshop on inclusion, presented our HOPE: Homeless Are People Solidarity Project and introduced participants to the MosaiCity board game, developed within the InGameGration project.
A lot to bring home: new contacts, practical ideas, fresh perspectives and even more motivation to keep making inclusion something we do, not only something we talk about.
