The members of “Par Dzīvot” Society in Daugavpils shared a warm, positive, and creative session filled with imagination, movement, art, and heartfelt moments together.We began with a fairy-tale journey, following yogis through a magical forest in India — a story that invited us to slow down, listen, feel, and discover something new within ourselves. Our journey continued with a creative workshop where everyone painted their own dandelions. 🎨🌿
The dandelion is more than just a flower for us — it is a symbol of “Par Dzīvot.” Bright and warm like sunshine, it also has beneficial properties and represents vitality and resilience. Dandelions grow almost everywhere. They survive difficult conditions and can even find their way through cracks in the asphalt, always reaching towards the light. ☀️
Just like the dandelion, we choose to keep growing, finding strength, beauty, warmth, and joy even when the path is not easy.
LadyLeader Stories is a KA2 Small-Scale Partnership project coordinated by Landsbyggdin lífi - Farsæld til framtíðar (Iceland) in a partnership with InterArt Foundation (Bulgaria) and Miromida (Latvia). The project aims to empower women in rural and disadvantaged areas by equipping them with leadership skills, storytelling techniques, and emotional intelligence tools to foster civic engagement, self-confidence, and active participation in their communities.
